I guess it is called "green" because the C7-D is touted to be the world's first carbon free processor. And max power consumption is 20W at 1.8GHz. It is "carbon free" via offsetting.

Very tempting. I want to see more first hand reviews after these things have been shipping for a month or so. I'm definitely tempted. I wonder what first time PC buyers will say about it.

Unfortunately, not as green as it could have been had they not tried to make non computer-savvy shoppers think that they're getting "more computer" when it comes in a bigger case.

Also, it's interesting that the team behind gOS contains some of the core people behind Enlightenment and Beryl/Compiz-Fusion. I like its clean and simple look, although it's pretty absurd that the icon next to the leaf in the "Dock" gets cut off in many of the screenshots I've seen!
