Day of the Golden Eagle

This post has been translated into English from its original form, a series of bleats and baas called out into the wilderness.

To our faithful goat audience — do not let this scare you away! It is only a vision [no equivalent for "movie" in goat parlance —ed.] ... Turn the young ones' eyes away, but teach them the story. The mighty death bird [Golden Eagle] is to be feared! See this vision of its air walk ending the life of your babes in a most horrifying way:

I didn't include a review in my original dispatch to the goats, but I dig this video for a number of reasons:

(1) I learned about the golden eagle's status as one of the premier raptors in the animal kingdom. Its wingspan averages over 7 feet!

(2) As National Geographic and The Discovery Channel learned long ago, it is fascinating to witness the harsh realities of survival in nature; the primal savagery of the eagle, and the mother goat's defense of her children show two creatures following their instincts and simply trying to keep their species around.

(3) Most awesomely, the production values. The narration (in Spanish), the soundtrack, the shots of the goats scanning the skies in fear — everything combines to make this clip into some kind of horror B-movie for goats about a flying Chupacabra. Fantastic!

(I also did not know about the Chupacabra's relationship to goats until looking up the Wikipedia article to add the link above.)
