Sunday Night Videos

I would never, ever attempt to be like these guys ...

... for fear of ending up like this guy:

Steve Nash is more consistent at free throw shooting than I am at ... breathing ...

... though I am better than this girl at explaining the plot of Star Wars:

Nash free throws: Meh, I'm not that impressed with it. I think my personal record was about 20 in a row (30?), but not in a minute! Although I've lost it now-a-days. Amy Harrington in the 5th grade I think did something like 50 in a row or 80, she was in like the state-wide free-throw contest, but again, I don't think there were time limits.

Anyway *I'm* not the reason why I'm not impressed with Nash all that much. Nor is Amy Harrington the reason. Jordan is. I remember watching him warming up for a game and he just had a rack of balls next to him, and he was just shooting free throws one after another in rapid succession, half the time without even looking at the basket and all of the ones he shot went in for the 15 or so seconds they were showing him. This was like one shot a second. I remember having some serious jaw-droppage watching that.

I am, however, extremely impressed with the flying suit people.

Wow, that guy's awesome! That was almost an hour of 3-pointers he shot, and made! The best part besides the actual achievement and all the trash talking about shaq's free throws (which I was thinking immediately after this video started was "what if these two guys hung out"), was his explanation at the end of why he missed #210, lol.

Man, that girl's retelling of the trilogy was hilarious. The animation and pics helped a lot too, but that was great.

Also, the coyote clip reminds me so much that I miss looney toons. Growing up TNT had like 2 or 3 hour blocks of that stuff. Wish they had that stuff on the air still.

Yeah, I watched the Wile E. Coyote clip a bunch of times before/during/after publishing this post (and again before writing this comment); not just because it cracks me up every time, but because — like you said — it reminds me of all the fun times watching Looney Toons as a kid.
